At LAISOLID, ROVI Pharmaceutical Company and BioTalentum Ltd. are combining their expertise to drive advances in regenerative medicine, a field focused on repairing or replacing damaged tissues through new technologies.
The partnership is part of IPCEI Med4Cure, a European initiative aimed at accelerating research, innovation, and the first industrial deployment of healthcare solutions.
What are we working on?
- Developing tailor‑made 3D polymeric scaffolds to protect cells and keep them alive for extended periods of time
- Applying these scaffolds to the encapsulation of pancreatic islet spheroids derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells, to preserve their metabolic activity and functionality
- Conducting a feasibility study on the solid filling of bioinks by adapting an innovative technology developed by ROVI
This project brings together complementary capabilities and reinforces a shared goal: transforming science into real solutions for patients and industry.
