On 25 September 2026, BioTalentum took part in Researchers’ Night, welcoming around 200 visitors to our interactive programme, “The secret life of cells – a journey under the microscope” at the MATE Szent István Campus in Gödöllő.

This afternoon our researchers invited visitors to explore the fascinating world of cells and discover what life in a biotechnology laboratory is really like. Across six interactive stations, participants could look at cells under a microscope, learn how cells form and function, try their hand at pipetting, and explore how modern research can contribute to the development of new approaches in medicine and healthcare.

The programme offered something for everyone – from discovering the microscopic building blocks of our bodies to learning about the use of animal models in biomedical research and exploring how genetic information can be delivered to diseased cells.

Visitors could also get an insight into some of the research and innovation projects BioTalentum is involved in, including NHPig, STEM-CORE, BRIGHTskills and MMM. These projects provided real-life examples of how research and innovation can address challenges in biomedical research, healthcare and the development of future therapies.

Researchers’ Night is a special opportunity for us to step outside the laboratory and share our work with the wider community. By combining scientific knowledge with hands-on activities, we aim to make research more accessible and encourage curiosity about the science behind the discoveries that shape our future.

We would like to thank all 200 visitors who joined us, explored our stations, asked questions and took part in the activities. It was a pleasure to introduce you to the secret life of cells and take you on a journey under the microscope! 🔬🧬

Thank you for being part of BioTalentum’s Researchers’ Night 2026!
