What skills will Europe’s health industry need, and how can industry, education and policymakers work together to respond?
On Thursday 19 November 2026, from 11:00 to 12:00 CET, BRIGHTskills will launch the first version of the BRIGHTskills European Health Industry Skills Strategy at an online webinar.
The Strategy brings together the project’s skills intelligence and stakeholder input to propose a shared roadmap to skills development across pharmaceuticals and biomanufacturing, MedTech, digital health and medical supplies.
As technologies, regulation and sustainability requirements change, organisations need to understand how workforce skills must evolve. The webinar will introduce the Strategy’s priorities and proposed actions, with discussion of their relevance to workforce planning, education and training.
Participants will be able to explore opportunities for cooperation, take part in a Q&A and learn how to contribute to the consultation phase, which begins with the launch. Feedback will help inform the Strategy’s further development.
The event is aimed at industry representatives, employers, education and training providers, policymakers, social partners and others working on skills development in Europe’s health industry.
